The Replacements- The Shit Hits The Fans...again


Due to popular demand...or at least because the link didn't work properly and I've had requests to re-up this gem from the Replacements. This is probably the tape that got me interested in Replacement's live concert recording and I originally bought this tape at a record collectors show sometime in the early 90's. Read more about my story in my original post from 2 years ago, and I'll spare you the details now.

Saw them in Columbus OH May 1986. They weren't drunk that night (at least I don't think). Westerberg had really long hippie hair and Bob spent most of the evening looking at Westerberg's hands to figure out the chords for a particular song. BTW, there's a 1986 Maxwell's Hoboken show that's great sound and great performance.
